The most important thing when we have a task or want to tackle something is to start doing it. If we are intimidated by the sheer size of the task and don't even begin it, we will never finish it.
Most of the time, the first step is the hardest, because we don't know what journey it will send us on. However, not taking the first step will only make us more afraid of the task over time.<\/p>\n\n\n

No matter how big or difficult a task seems to us, we have to start somewhere. But if we don't get a concrete plan or an accurate picture of the situation, it can usually seem overwhelming.
Even if at first glance the undertaking seems too big for us, it can help to break it down into smaller subgoals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, if you want to climb a high mountain, it helps to set small stage goals instead of only having the summit in mind. This way you can master the journey of a thousand miles piece by piece.
Put one foot in front of the next is the motto here. Whether you are walking in the mountains or in the forest, if you only look far into the distance and do not pay attention to the ground in front of you, it can quickly happen that you trip and fall.
It's more important to pay attention to the little things you can influence than to just look at the big picture.

When I quit smoking, I didn't tell myself I would never smoke again. Because never smoking again seemed like a huge task. I always said to myself, today, or rather now, I won't smoke a cigarette. Because it is much easier to give up one cigarette instead of all the ones to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
