When I decided to write my own book, I found a suitable topic relatively quickly: love. What also became clear very quickly was the way I wanted to portray it, in a very everyday way. It shouldn't be too romantic but not too dry either. For this reason, I decided to portray it as realistically as possible. The best way for me to do this was not to write one big coherent story, but many individual ones, because that way I could show the many small nuances and moments in a much more concentrated way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The slightly provocative title Love is OK <\/em>I would like to draw attention to the fact that even if love can be responsible for the highest highs, it can also be responsible for the lowest lows. In my opinion, the intersection of the sums of these emotions levels out somewhere in the middle. Of course, this is not to say that I can't get a lot out of love, on the contrary, because otherwise I probably wouldn't have written a book about it, but rather to put love as such in a somewhat less romanticized or glorified light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n



I used personal experiences, but also daydreams or other inspirations that I found as models. To my personal surprise, the true stories blended so well with the fictional ones that I only know which ones happened and which ones were made up after careful consideration - even my girlfriend only has a 501TP3 success rate when it comes to guessing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plots of the short stories range from a vacation flirtation, to the pain of a broken heart, to a daydream with a stranger on a train. In other words, they encompass everything that can happen to you every day.
As the book is a collection of short stories, it is ideal for reading from time to time, whether on the train, during a lunch break or before going to bed. Of course, if you have more time, you can also read several stories in a row to have direct comparisons. At just over 300 pages in paperback, it's a good companion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funnily enough, after finishing the book, my friend pointed out to me that the New York Times had also compiled a collection of short stories on the subject of love. This confirmed to me that there is indeed a certain demand for this topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to put your image of love in a new light or are looking for entertainment, this book is for you. The varied stories mean that there is something for everyone. I would even venture to say that no one will be able to find themselves in at least one of these stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
